Why is everyone saying Oasis have split. because they haven’t?

Everyone is saying Oasis are done, but they are still a band, Noel has just left. He will probably come back after a year or so, and they werent going to make another album for 3years or so anyways… so they have time! I just think everyone is overreacting, Oasis are still active, just one member less..

maybe im just in denial, but i do believe i have a point.

Any thoughts?

    I’m sure you’re right about Noel returning in a year or so, but while he’s gone Oasis is effectively broken up.

    And how many times have Oasis “split up.” Oasis is passed its best days anyway, and they are playing the same style songs they did when they were ruling the charts, and still have not entered the 21st century.
