Which Oasis album should I get next?

Oasis albums
Julia asked:

Alright, so I have Definitely Maybe, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory and The Masterplan and love all three, but my question is: now what?
I was going to get Heathen Chemistry, but heard that it was complete crap, so I decided on Be Here Now. And then I heard it wasn’t that great either, and that Standing On The Shoulders of Giants is even worse! I’ve been thinking of just getting Don’t Believe The Truth, because I heard such good things about it…but I just wanted to know what your opinions were.
Help please! And thanks for all the answers in advance!

u might wanna try “stop the clocks”. It’s a double CD full of their best songs (picked by the band themselves)

Honestly, all of them aren’t that great.
If you like them.. start with a Death Cab for Cutie collection. Much better lyrically and musically.

It’s def. a tie between Heathen Chemistry and Don’t Believe the Truth. Both of them have great songs and the music is awesome! I guess in a way it doesn’t matter cause in all albums, their music is amazing

Be Here Now isn’t as bad as people make out.
It was just over-hyped at the time because of the success of Definitely Maybe, and What’s The Story.
Anything that has that amount of expectation is going to be a let down.
    Give it a go.
    I bet you’ll like it.
    Avoid Standing On The Shoulders.
It really does stink of stale cheese.

be here now is actually quite good even though the songs are all like 6 minutes long. standing on the shoulders is a bit of a let down, there’s only 2 or 3 good songs on it. don’t believe the truth is probably their best since morning glory.

In my opinion BE HERE NOW should be your next one.

Forget it. Get Sergeant Pepper by the Beatles instead.

    Oasis are sooo last year…

Go and buy Revolver by The Beatles and see where they got all their ideas from.
