Captain Bucky asked:
Oasis prepare to release their Greatest Hits album in November, spanning their whole career and I imagine the majority of the album will be made up of songs that were released ten years ago.
Should the Gallaghers just call it day?

Should have quit before they started
Nobody says this to the Rolling Stones! I admit that their stuff hasn’t altered very much since 1994, but if the demand is there, they should continue – if all else fails, they’ll end up in the Circus Tavern, Purfleet!
noooooooo their one of my favorite bands i say they keep on going
the majority of the album was recorded ten years ago. To answer your question, absolutely yes. It has all gone downhill since Definitely Mabye…
They are musicians.
That is what they do.
Do you think it is up to you to tell people to stop working?
It’s not as if nobody goes to their gigs or buys Oasis albums.
What an idiot!
They did quit, didn’t they, at least twice?
I see where your coming from, but on the newer albums there are good tracks between the fillers.
while people are prepared to pay them for whatever songs they release, they will carry on.
Shouldn’t have bothered in the first place!
No Oasis should keep going. But 1 of the Gallaghers should have his teeth extracted. Liam of course
would you quit a fantasic paying job, when you can milk it for another 10 years?it only what oasis are doing.
Yep. We didnt need another beatles. That’s all they are.
They shouldn’t have bothered starting in the first place. their music is so dull. Greatest hits? You could just pick any one of their songs and it would sound almost identical to all their others. Sure, if you have a formula and it works, use it. But a little innovation now and again wouldn’t go amiss. Just as long as they didn’t do a “Robbie” and go too far!
definitely not – i think it’ll be a great album and i for one will buy it
No way, they’re great!
They should never have started.
I thought they should have quit before they started so a DEFINITE yes from me
NO-Noel is a brill song writer, they changed music for our generation like the Beatles did for theirs! x
