I much prefer Oasis. Radiohead, to me, while not horrible, was over-publicized and mainly hype. Oasis is real, emotion, raw talent to me.

Radiohead are 'better' in terms of musical ingenuity, in my opinion. The diversity of their work serves as proof to the band's capability in keeping their music fresh and interesting; there's always new material to discover and be amazed with, and that makes Radiohead a very exciting band to listen to. The songs are not always easy to like, and that's put off some listeners, but they do grow on you over time. And when they do, there's layers after layers of meaning and sound that keeps them fascinating, even when overplayed. They also are responsible for some of the most powerful live performances I have seen in my life... and for producing haunting, enigmatic, meaningful lyrics. MAN, the lyrics. I think that's what made me fall in love with Radiohead in the first place. I've always believed that Fake Plastic Trees is songwriting at its prime.

I have to admit that Oasis makes (er, made) catchier tunes, and are more entertaining. Noel and Liam's rather aggressive display of affection has always amused me so.

So, with all this fawning that I'm doing, you can rightly judge that I am for Radiohead (and will always be! :dances:). Although I have to say that it still comes down to individual perspective, so I can only go as far as to justify my opinion. Love and peace, Oasis faithful.

Yes, Radiohead is much better than Oasis. I don't care for The Bends very much though. Radiohead is just much more musically creative and they ignite deeper feelings in their audience.
