Problem with iTunes?

Oasis albums
oh.vondaful asked:

There are several albums and songs that are available on the UK and UK iTunes store that just aren’t existent on the Australian one.

I’m assuming I can’t make an account on the UK iTunes store, because you have to pay in pounds, and you can only buy iTunes cards in AUS dollars here in Australia (duh).

I am just really annoyed because there is no Beatles, ACDC and many other great bands on the Australian iTunes store. I’m especially upset that they’re missing several Oasis albums – including Heathen Chemistry – which has Stop Crying Your Heart Out and Little by Little – two great songs.

Is there some way to acquire these songs somehow? Without resorting to nasty Limewire?
Well, thank you everyone – ^^
Just a note though, I do buy iTunes cards, but the thing is I can’t use them to buy the songs on the UK store, because the cards aren’t in pounds.
Also, re. Limewire – look do what you like, but I prefer giving the artists some credit. And you don’t know WHAT you’re downloading.
I suppose if the eBay thing doesn’t work out (great idea, btw!) I’ll just have to buy the whole album from Sanity or something. Kinda ***** – the best thing about iTunes is that you can buy songs on their own.

Well, Im in Canada, and most of the albums you listed you cant buy as well. I think the best way to buy music is buy going to the store and buying the album. But, iTunes is cheaper, in a way. I love iTunes. But maybe, if you get iTunes gift cards, you could buy songs. Thats how I do it. I never use my credit card. Really, its much more efficant buying the cards. I dont know if they have them in australia, but the money works all the time. Hope that helps!

Besides Limewire, I usually use this site right here:

All you need to do is four easy steps:
    1)Create an account
2)Activate your account (I can’t remember if I had to or not, but you might need to)
3)Search for the song your looking for
4)Pick one, preview it, then click the download button

It should pop up with one of those download boxes to download to your computer. It’s free and really easy to use. It helped me get a lot of songs I couldn’t find on Itunes either. I hope this helped.

Have a look on eBay for UK iTunes gift cards. I’ve bought Japanese ones before, then used that to make a Japanese iTunes account. You’ve got to have an address in Japan (the UK for you) though, but I just found one via Google.

So, yeah. I’ve got a US iTunes account too… Just pick up the cards on eBay.

    I found one here:

It’s pretty pricey, but, hey. Anything for good music, right?
