Yes, unfortunately, it is true, the albums are gone without explanation.

But I will tell you what I think will happen.

Oasis's new album, "Dig Out Your Soul", is due out on October 7th. The 1st single from the album, "The Shock Of The Lightning", will be released in September. I think that sometime in September, iTunes will put up "Dig Out Your Soul" for preorder, along with "The Shock Of The Lightning" for an individual download. They will also put up all the albums, some music videos that they never had, and give Oasis their own "special artist page" like they have in the UK iTunes (where they have a huge picture of the band with a short biography on the right of the screen and a special color scheme).

I realized that the last album to be removed was Heathen Chemistry. Before the removal of the albums, Heathen Chemistry had a strange glitch which caused the hidden track, "The Cage", to be just 3 minutes of silence, and the next track "Better Man", is instead "She Is Love", while retaining the title "Better Man". The glitches were fixed just before all the albums except Heathen Chemistry were removed, and now Heathen Chemistry is gone. Interesting.

Well, I hope that iTunes can put these albums up again, and that iTunes gives more respect to this great band in their US store.

i noticed this the other day when i was going to buy a song from "Dont belive the truth" that the album was gone and so were 4 others. The 6th best album of all time, according to HMV, has just been removed from iTunes. (definately maybe-Oasis)

WTF is with this. Write a complaint or something, iTunes pulled off some of the best albums they had on there.

How strange! I JUST looked up Oasis on iTunes, and was wondering the same thing.
But whatever, they're good enough to go out and buy the real CD.
