I am a more recent Oasis fan, so I still haven’t got around to listening to Don’t Believe the Truth and Be Here Now. I hear Don’t Believe the Truth is very good, so I will get around to adding it to my collection eventually. However, is getting Be Here Now, something that i should do? I like all of the other albums that they have (although I find Heathen Chemistry to be a bit boring at times), especially the first two, obviously.
However, I have read reviews of Be Here Now and it is hard to pin down exactly what it is like. It seems like the opinions run the entire spectrum, with no real consensus. Is it worth it or is it total garbage?

Oasis is overall a really good band, so probably.
Not too catchy melody….don’t like much that song….kinda boring…hey I think that song is from Heathen Chemistry right?..well I might say that Heathen Chemistry is kinda slow…maybe their worst album (my opinion okay)…but “Stop Crying Your Heart” is an exception….
Why don’t you listen to their new album ‘Dig Out Your Soul’…a bit impressive art work from them…really like the song “Shock Of The Lightning”….(can’t stop singing the song….’Comin, come out, comin’..hahaha)…
By the way the best album from them is probably ‘What’s the Story (Morning Glory?)….*I know that you probably knew it before*
I think so, but that’s just my opinion.
I really like ‘Be Here Now’, one of those albums that grows on you, it’s a bit too long but I find it one their most subtle efforts. As opposed to ‘Don’t Believe…’, which I found to be so derivative, even by Oasis standards!!!
the first 3 Oasis albums are their best IMHO,
