    “The Importance of Being Idle.”

I love the feel of this song–Liam’s voice is fantastic here. And the video is great. As a whole, I like Oasis, but they aren’t my favorite band.

I’d probably like them a -whole- lot more if they weren’t so arrogant.

[EDIT: Correction to T.S.R. lol - Noel sings "Importance of Being Idle," not Liam.]

It’s hard to choose a single favorite Oasis song. Brilliant band. It’s especially hard to choose between their beautiful songs (“Don’t Look Back in Anger” and “Half the World Away,” for exaple) and their harder-rocking songs (“Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” and “The Shock of the Lightning,” for example).

But… I have to go with “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” It’s such a poignant, emotional song. It just feels… epic. Even the title, “don’t look back in anger,” sounds important and profound. lol Noel is a such a brilliant songwriter. But I also love these songs:

    “Gas Panic!”
    “I’m Outta Time”
    “The Importance of Being Idle”
    “Lyla”
    “The Masterplan”
    “Morning Glory”
    “Slide Away”
    “Songbird”
    “Supersonic”
    “Talk Tonight”
    and many others…

Noel and Liam Gallagher are living legends. I love ‘em both. =)

Roch N Roll star- for me it is what Oasis are about. It starts the Definetly Maybe album and batters you around the head with pure unadulterated rock n roll. The band are at their best and purest on this album. Sadly they’ve never re-created the spirit of this album.
