    The new album gets a thumbs up from me. Not as good as Definatley, Maybe or Whats the Story Morning Glory, but still a very solid effort from a great band.

    I really like the song Waiting for the Rapture.

    I listened to a couple of the new singles on MySpace and I only dug the 1st single they’re gonna release. I won’t but their album and im not a general fan so its unfair for me to judge but I do think Noel Gallagher is an excellent songwriter and his brother holds him back.

    Overall it’s an ok album.Thank f**k they are starting to show some progression again,but there are no stand out tracks,and on “Waiting for the Rapture” they have completely stolen the music from “Five to One” by The Doors.That’s just lazy!

    I want to listen to the legendary band who made Definitely Maybe and What’s The Story.

    What happened to them?

    Everything after Morning Glory has just been mediocre sh!te!

    i give it a thumbs UP, sure it wasnt as good as whats the story or Definately maybe.. but its still good…And that Josh G guy is a dipshit, oasis isnt metal, and never claimed to be….i bet you if you look up AFI or whatever crap you listen to, Oasis is listed as one of their influences…

    Every Single Track On This Album Is Brilliant. The Ones That Really Stick Out For Me Are:

    Waiting for the Rapture: Oasis Go Drop D! :o …Yet It’s Superb!

    The Shock of the Lightning: Is Loud, Driving, And Massive And Yes, It’s Fantastic

    I’m Outta Time (Best Song On The Album): Took 9 Years To Write….Good Job Liam Spent Time On It, By Far The Best Song He’s Wrote.

    (Get off Your) High Horse Lady: So Beatles-Esqe, In Other Words…Great!

    Falling Down: Noel’s Voice Is The Best Ever On This Track, The Drums Also Stick Out For Me, Starkey Stopped Being “Ringo’s Son” And Became One Of The Premier Drummers In All Of Britain.

    I Reccomend That Everyone Goes Out And Buys This Album! Time For Me To Sing And Chant Some New Classics!
