Anyone heard the new Oasis album?

I’ve had a couple of listens to it and for the life of me i cant see what Noel was banging on about. It’s the same old,same old from em.The only difference is perhaps the drums are a little bit more heavier.
Whats everyone else’s take on it?

    I liked it. Same old, same old is not a bad thing. You should have heard Weezer’s cover of ‘Morning Glory’ live in Boston the other day. it was rad!

    i read it was leaked but i havent heard it yet. if its anything like their new single then i totally agree, same old plodding dross

    the video for the new single is ok though, even if that too is a massive beatles rip off

    Not heard the whole thing but going on the few I have heard, it sounds like the last two albums…I dont think they are putting the effort in these days, they need a change of direction. Not that they will, Noel seems quite happy to plod along with average tunes.

    well i havent listened to it fully,i liked them the first time around,but they were very dark days for me then,so never enjoyed them as i should,i think they sound the same and i also agree on the drumming.i thought the same with some of the lyrics its as if they are not as clear..

    i like it, they’ve haven’t changed oasis, they’ve completly kept the same old sound they always have. thats the great thing about it, they’re basically sticking to what they do best. Noel always buff’s up an album before release because he truly believes its good, because it is, but its good because its the same genius song writing he usually does the same catchy melodies, and the same oasis vibe. So basically he knows its good because its the same as the rest….if you get what i mean. just different lyrics.

    going to see them in october :)
