Am I The Only One Who Thinks That “Be Here Now” Is Oasis’ Best Album?

Oasis albums

Of course their first two were amazing but I always felt Be Here Now was their best album, at least thus far. It was just so grand and involved. Not only do i not understand the extreme unpopularity of the album (actually it was probably just so anticipated and hyped that no album could ever live up to it) but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be perhaps, their most popular.

Is there at least one person in this world that agrees that Be Here Now is better than all of the others?

You are the only one. In the whole world.

Be Here Now is definitely not their best album.I would rank it about 6th behind “Definitely Maybe”, “(What’s the Story)Morning Glory?”, “The Masterplan(B-sides Album)”, “Dig Out Your Soul” and “Don’t Believe the Truth”.
Be Here Now is just too sloppy in terms of editing. It is about 20 minutes over long and songs like “All Around the World” and “Magic Pie” could easily have been edited to under 5 minutes in length. There is a reason why Oasis only recently started playing a song or two off that album live after nearly ten years and why no track off that album made it onto the “Stop the Clocks” Best Of Compilation. The reason is that they themselves rank it as their worst effort.
