haha… anyway..
I was wondering whether you guys had any suggestions of bands or singers you think i would like.
Bands and singers i currently like are the fratellis, the beatles, regina spektor, death cab, oasis, the kooks, Radiohead, Muse, Smashing Pumpkins, The Strokes, Tegan and Sara etc. etc. (alternativeish kind of stuff i guess, but NOT emo please, like alternative rock i guess)
anyway yeah.. if you could suggest bands and singers similar to them , like the well known ones too but I would also love some not as well known…
Also, if you like… could you give me your opinion on the best albums of the above bands and singers as well as the best albums of the people you are perhaps introducing me to.
Thanks guys!!!
Hello, people.
I’m considering of buying either Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero World Tour.
First of all, I would like to know which one is the best choise for vocals, to which I’m particularly interested in. Furthermore, I was wondering if there are any radical differences among the versions of the games in Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3. Bare in mind that I don’t care about the graphics, they are music games, after all.
I am mostly yearning in Guitar Hero World Tour, since it has a whole album of Oasis available for download. If I download it, will I be able to import the songs I downloaded for it to Guitar Hero 5, if I ever get that one? Is the Wii version the same as the PlayStation 3 one? Any missing songs, features, downloadable content and stuff in either version?
Thanks in advance.

I love The Police, Led Zeppelin, Dave Matthews Band and Oasis and Red hot chili Peppers , who else would u recommend I despise Metal and anything Heavy Metal , (Zeppelin I don’t my consider metal Fool in the rain, Dyer Marker, Kashmir are nothing along the lines of Metal in my opinion, I love bands with dynamics and just can’t keep the beat and change genres in different albums thanks, also no electronic music or screaming,
I am aware I spelled Dyer Maker wrong all apologies
Who else thinks this year has been poor for new music? Last year we had great albums songs and tours from oasis u2 coldplay greenday hard fi etc.We had a good start this year with the arctic monkeys but little else…
Ok today was the day, I accept Oasis as finished. As Liam Said his band will have a new name and the name Oasis was Sh**. Tbh I don’t think he means that, Because i think saying that will keep the media knowing he still is the ‘Bad ass’ as you may call it alive. But i believe that Liam cares too much about Oasis. Well Me myself think that they will reunite but NOT yet, maybe 3, 4 years at the most, i think Liam and Noel would want to release at least 2 Albums before they do, If they do. This Is My Opinion, So what do you think…

do you think this is better than the list i posted by rolling stone magazine or just as bad?
Noel recorded this song– http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Og5tphElDw –for the first X-Files movie. It’s a very different sound than Oasis. It’s more in line with Primal Scream or The Chemical Brothers.
Have you heard it? Do you dig it?
Bonus Q: Will you listen to Noel Gallagher’s solo album (which he’s confirmed he’s recording) when it comes out in 2010/11?
Oh, bit of trivia: sharp-eared Stone Roses/Ian Brown fans may recognize this song was developed into Brown’s single “Keep What Ya Got” in 2004.
From BBC News, 2008 (Internet) stated that: “Noel and Liam Gallagher sacked Alan White who had been in the band since original drummer Tony McCarroll was fired shortly after the 1995 release of debut album Definitely Maybe.” However, why was Alan White sacked?
Well, I’m bored as all hell. Which band do you think is better and why? It’s a tough one for me but I’ll pick QoTSA just because they’ve been more consistent.
BQ: Best albums by both?
