Great songs that might get overlooked because they’re hidden away on what is generally regarded as a pretty crappy album.

I’ll go with Fade In-Out by Oasis from the album Be Here Now.I think it’s a pretty great track, plus Johnny Depp plays slide guitar on it.But, it’s on the album most Oasis fans consider the start of a slump.

I am a more recent Oasis fan, so I still haven’t got around to listening to Don’t Believe the Truth and Be Here Now. I hear Don’t Believe the Truth is very good, so I will get around to adding it to my collection eventually. However, is getting Be Here Now, something that i should do? I like all of the other albums that they have (although I find Heathen Chemistry to be a bit boring at times), especially the first two, obviously.

However, I have read reviews of Be Here Now and it is hard to pin down exactly what it is like. It seems like the opinions run the entire spectrum, with no real consensus. Is it worth it or is it total garbage?

I know, most oasis fans **** Standing on the Shoulder of Giants but i love it. Do any of their other albums sound like it? That somewhat psychedelic sound?

Which of these Britpop best-of albums has the best cover art, in your opinion?
My favorite is Blur’s. I’ve always thought it would be a very cool as a poster.

I love the guys, but rolling stone didnt even have one of thier albums in their top 500 albums of all time. Were they seen as `defining` in the music industry or just a flash in the pan?
